Good Price for Acceptable Features September 17, 2009 L. Strickland (Northwest Arkansas, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Ok, lets face it. This thing costs very little for what it does, and i'm gonna show it some kindness in my review due to that very fact. But also first and foremost, it is a very cheap device for what it can do.
The unit is big, but that affords a bigger keyboard and screen. It has tons more room on the screen than most devices in its category. Plus the larger keys keep me from sitting around re-typing things I have mis-entered. The con is that you really have to use two hands, and sometimes the screen as well to use it. I have big hands, so it isn't any problem for me, but it is almost awkward to use the thing one handed. Small hands beware, you will not be texting and driving with this beast.
GPS and WiFi works good. Cell phone and bluetooth are acceptable. Processor is alittle underpower for all the things you can do with it, but not painfully so. Make sure to get a MiniSD card, because you will need the space to put much of anything on it.
I love it, but I can see the down sides, so make sure you know that this isn't your small 600 dollar smart phone, but it does almost everything that one does.
I Don't Leave Home Without September 29, 2009 L. Marie Brown 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have had this phone for about 7 months and love it. Coming from a person that does not use the phone very much but must have a smartphone for the rest of the features. The phone is bulky, but perfect for a person like me. I lose things that are small. I am a woman with somewhat large hands so the keys are great for me. Battery life is really good and set up was very simple. The only downfall for is when using the phone my cheeks hit the touch screen. Great buy for the price.
EXCELENTE November 2, 2009 Jose Fernando Maldonado (El Salvador) Superó mis expectativas el teléfono, y el tiempo de entrega fue antes de lo programado.
Data plan is a MUST!!! September 5, 2009 M. Paff (Atlanta, GA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Before purchasing this phone make sure that you have a data plan through your carrier. I got this phone (with no data plan from AT&T) and my first month's phone bill was over $600. This phone - though it says Wi-Fi - will connect via your cell connection everytime. Be sure that you have an adequate data plan before activating this phone!!!
Other than that, I have really enjoyed the features, size and quality of this phone.
Battery ahhh October 8, 2009 Everson All around the phone is pretty decent for the price as alot of the guys said. First night to the day i got it, i went to sleep and left it on the charger. Woke up the next morning and the battery was full. While getting ready for work i just watched a couple videos with the youtube app and when i closed it off, a whole cell was gone. ***I dont leave the wifi on all day, or when im not using it, my back light is set to stay on for the minimum time, the screen brightness is not at the brightest and only a few of my alerts have vibration to them. By the end of the day my battery had an exclamation mark in it.
Same thing happened the next day and i hardly used the thing. I dont know if its just that i got a bad battery or if this is how it is for the phone. I plan to do some more testing and drain the battery completely dead and bring it right back up fully and see where it goes from here.
