Product Description Need to trim down? The Motorola L6i is the answer. This stylish, quad-band world phone has more than just great looks, with features like Bluetooth, FM Radio, mobile email, a speakerphone, voice dialing, a camera, and more. Now you can have a skinny phone that's big on the features that make your life easier. At less than a half-inch thick, the L6 features a large 128 x 160-pixel color display with 65,000 colors that resides above the handset's backlit control pad. Most of the phone's menus and features are controlled by a circular control pad just above the numeric keypad. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side, and there's also a highly accessible mini-USB port on the right side of the phone for data synchronization. The VGA camera unit is placed on the back of the phone. The L6i's internal phone book can hold up to 500 contacts. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3-based ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. It's compatible with polyphonic ringtones, and there's a vibrating alert for times when you want to be discreet. Picture and ringer ID functions let you assign photos or ringtones to incoming callers, while a voice dialing feature lets you call your contacts by speaking to the phone. Plus, a built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear.

Works for me as an international phone May 16, 2010 NewReviewer (Maryland, USA) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I bought this phone because I wanted an unlocked quad band phone to use for interational travel. I was a little concerned about purchasing this phone after reading some of the other reviews indicating the phone was not unlocked. My phone, purchased from Amazon.com (Cellular Concepts), is unlocked as advertised.
I cannot really comment much on the phone features, because I have not used many of them. All I wanted was a phone to make calls when travelling to locations where my Verizon cell phone does not work. I got a prepaid SIM card from T-Mobile in the US to make sure the phone worked, and then I took it on a recent trip to the Caribbean, where I purhcased a prepaid SIM card from the local Digicel dealer. I used the phone to make some calls on my trip. Call quality was fine. The battery standby life (with minimal use) was very good. On two occassions, the phone remained charged for more than a week.
Review of a New L6i March 16, 2010 J. D. Farrow (Durham, NC USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A great Motorola phone. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is the battery case cover does not stay on and can be an irritating problem but it is manageable. Otherwise, the phone it self is well made and works great with great sound quality on the call.
Works great good for the price you pay July 20, 2010 Mani Simple and does it's job. I wanted an unlocked phone and did not want to pay too much and I found just the right one. It has all the basic features you need. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.
What does international version really mean.?. March 22, 2010 Charles A. Daigre (USA, Philadelphia. Pa.) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Purchased this item with the intention of giving it as a gift to a friend in South America that speaks Portuguise. The international version has only English and Chineese for language not able to change to another language. I am not able to text easily as the phone is permanetly stuck in automatic spell so if you start out with the letter s it always inserts another letter for you which makes one have to keep deleting the letters not wanted until you locate the one you want, instructions not clear on how to stop the action.
